The series editor takes the helm for this title in her era of specialty. This book is the only title in the series on one king not to have ‘The life and times of...” as part of the title. Instead, the full double-crown title of King James is used above and below his name (thus making it difficult for bibliographers to cite correctly!). The paperback was issued in 1994.
